Who looks for ABDC journals
- Management and commerce faculty, especially in business schools
- PhD scholars in management, finance, economics, marketing and HR
- Researchers applying to institutions that use ABDC ratings for hiring and promotion
The ratings
Journals are rated A* (highest), A, B or C. The list is reviewed from time to time, so a journal's rating can change. We always check the current edition.
What we check before recommending a journal
- That it is listed today, not just in the past, since databases drop journals regularly
- That its scope fits your paper
- Review time, acceptance rate where published, and article processing charge
- That the website you submit to is the journal's real site, not a clone
