Journals and publishing
Do you guarantee acceptance in a Scopus or Web of Science journal?
No, and nobody honestly can. Every reputable journal decides through its own editors and peer reviewers. What we do is improve your chances: we choose journals whose scope and standards genuinely fit your paper, prepare the manuscript to their guidelines, and help you respond well to reviewers.
Be careful with anyone who promises guaranteed publication in an indexed journal. It is the most common sign of a predatory or fake journal service.
How long does publication take?
It depends on the journal. Peer review alone can take from a few weeks to several months, and revisions add time. When we shortlist journals for you, we give the typical review time for each, so you can choose one that fits your deadline.
If you have a firm deadline, such as a thesis submission or a promotion, tell us at the first consultation. If it is not realistic, we will say so.
How can I check that a journal is really indexed?
Search for the journal by its ISSN in Scopus Sources (for Scopus) or Clarivate's Master Journal List (for Web of Science). Check that the ISSN and publisher match and that coverage continues to the current year. Reach the journal's website through the link in that record, not through an email.
We share these links for every journal we recommend. Our guide How to check whether a journal is really indexed in Scopus explains each step.
Which journals do you recommend, and can I choose my own?
We recommend journals that fit your paper's subject, method and quality, that meet your university's or employer's rule, and whose indexing we can verify on the day. You get a shortlist with the reasons, the indexing proof, the typical review time and any article processing charge.
You always make the final choice. If you already have a journal in mind, we will check it for you first.
Is the UGC-CARE list still valid?
No. The UGC discontinued the UGC-CARE list in 2025 and gave suggested parameters for judging peer-reviewed journals instead. Each university now sets its own rule, and many ask for journals indexed in Scopus or Web of Science. Read UGC-CARE is gone: how to choose a peer-reviewed journal now.
Who submits the paper, and whose name is on it?
Your name, and the names of your genuine co-authors, are on the paper, and you are the corresponding author unless you choose otherwise. Where you ask us to handle the submission, we do it only with your approval of the final files and the journal, and you receive every message from the journal.
What happens if my paper is rejected?
Rejection is a normal part of publishing, even for excellent papers. We read the editor's and reviewers' comments with you, improve the paper where they have a point, and submit it to the next suitable journal as agreed in your quote. A rejection on its own does not make completed work refundable, which is why your quote says in advance what happens in that case.
Fees and payments
What are your charges?
They depend on the service, the length and stage of your work, and your deadline. After a free consultation you get a clear written quote, listing what is included and the timeline, before any work starts and before you pay anything.
Is the journal's article processing charge included?
Some journals charge an article processing charge (APC) for open-access publication; many subscription journals charge nothing. Any APC is paid to the journal and is shown separately in our quote, so you always know exactly what goes to the journal and what is for our service.
How do I pay, and do I get a receipt?
You can pay by bank transfer, UPI or the online payment options on our Pay online page. Please pay only after you receive our written quote. You receive a receipt for every payment, and a GST invoice where it applies.
Can I cancel, and what is your refund policy?
You can cancel before work starts for a full refund of any advance. After work has started, we refund the advance minus the value of the work already done. Fees already paid to third parties, such as a journal's APC, cannot be refunded by us. The full details are in our refund and cancellation policy.
Writing, editing and ethics
Will you write my paper or thesis for me?
We guide, review and edit; the research, the ideas and the authorship stay yours. Our experts help you plan the structure, choose and justify the methodology, analyse your data, improve the language and format the work to your university's or journal's rules.
We do not submit work in your name that you did not do, sell authorship, or help anyone get around plagiarism rules. That protects your degree and your reputation.
Is my work kept confidential?
Yes. Your manuscript, data and personal details are seen only by the people working on them, are never shared with anyone else, and are never published or reused without your written permission. See our confidentiality policy.
How much similarity (plagiarism) is acceptable?
For theses in Indian universities, the UGC 2018 regulations treat up to 10% similarity, after the permitted exclusions, as minor. Journals set their own limits, often lower. We check your work, help you cite and rewrite flagged passages properly, and give you a re-check report. Read How much similarity is acceptable?
Can you help with data analysis?
Yes. We run and explain analyses in SPSS, AMOS, SmartPLS, R, Python, Stata and more: from descriptive statistics and regression to factor analysis and structural equation modelling, and qualitative analysis of interviews. You get the output, a plain explanation and help writing the results, so you can defend them in a viva or to reviewers.
Books, events and patents
Do you publish books with an ISBN?
Yes. We publish authored books, edited volumes, theses as books and conference proceedings, in print and as e-books, with an ISBN. After the final manuscript is approved, printing usually takes about 15 days; editing and review before that depend on the length and condition of the manuscript. Read How to publish an academic book in India.
Can you organise a conference or workshop for our institution?
Yes. We organise national and international seminars and conferences with or for universities and colleges, including the call for papers, peer review, proceedings with ISBN and certificates, and hands-on workshops on research methods, writing and software such as SPSS and SmartPLS.
Do you help with patents?
Yes: a prior-art search, drafting the specification and drawings, filing the application and following it up. Patent office fees are paid to the office and shown separately in our quote.
Working with us
Do you work with researchers outside India?
